I'm including this is a separate entry because it has nothing to do with Potsdam. (And I already wrapped up the Potsdam chapter so nicely, I didn't want to keep going!)

So, remember how I said I took a shower and put on my pajamas? Yeah, well, that was short-lived. I got a text from Mikkal around 7 pm asking me if I wanted to go out. I have been skipping most of the group's late-night "beer walks" since I value sleep. However, I told Mikkal I'd like to go eventually. Apparently eventually means right after a super long day! I agreed, because hey, what's some more exhaustion on top of the exhaustion I already have?

So, at 10 pm, I wandered up to Mikkal's apartment and we headed out. (Which is actually very early for them). I can't remember the name of the dive bar we went to (neither can they). But it was nice. We sat outside and enjoyed a beer (or two, in some cases). I was definitely the soberest one at the table, but it was still fun. We saw a rat scurry by, which incited all kinds of screaming and running.

On the way back, we got stuck in the only train station without a bathroom, which was a huge problem for multiple people. Luckily, the train showed up soon, and we made our way home. THEN I got to go to bed. At 1 in the morning. It was fun, but I don't think I'll be going out much in the future...
