the physical, tangible example of the role and influence of Aquinas. The church is much more simply than the other Basilicas. This signifies it was not a location based on showy religion or reputation; instead it was a place of deep thought and other coming doubts. It was a place the soul would go to breath, not to be enslaved to the gold ornate plating which other basilicas embodied. Santa Sabina sits upon a Hill and represents A City Upon A Hill because it served as an example for religious thought around the world.
