That isn’t a typo, we skipped Tuesday the second. It never existed!
It was weird hearing Kia Ora in an American accent boarding the plane, but it is cool to hear some te reo and kiwi accents around us. Air New Zealand was a great choice for our flight home. It was pretty uneventful with lots of movies and Big Bang Theory watched!
After all of the customs we have been through in the last four years I’d have to say this time that NZ was by far the best. It helps we can use the electronic gates, but the whole process so smooth! Also helps when the MAF officer gives you tips on where the best coffee in the terminals is! Thank you!
After a shower and brushing our teeth to make ourselves feel normal again, we headed over to domestic and waited a couple of hours for our last flight of the trip. A great time to catch up on

this blog! The flight from Auckland to Dunedin was great with amazing views all the way down the country.
We have been so lucky to be able to live in England for the last four years and to be able to travel for the last two and half months like we have. Our time travelling different countries and cultures has given us a massive appreciation for growing up in NZ and the lifestyle in this tiny country in the South Pacific. I know we are pretty biased but we reckon it’s the best country in the world. It’s bloody good to be home!
