It was suffocating hot. It was almost too hot to drink water. Plus, it was annoying to have to carry those big water bottles everywhere. At dinner time, their were musicians playing loud music everywhere, for the French celebration of the first day of summer. We would find a place to eat, and there would be something wrong with it. For example, one time we found a nice place to eat, called 'Paul's', but it was outside so it was really hot, and mom decided that the music that was being played on a nearby street corner was too loud.

Finally we found a crepes place it wasn't too hot and was not too loud either. We tried a few different crepes, and I liked the sunny side up egg and cheese crepe the best. Afterwords, the guy gave me a green and silver flowers bracelet and he gave Paloma a mini fan that you put together. The service was very nice so I tipped them and put a little coin in the jar that had TIPS written on it in bold capital letters.
