The next morning before breakfast Yolande ran out to the market and came home with pâté de Foie gras, shrimp, snails, cheeses, bread, etc. She said all of this was for dinner along with a roasted duck. We spent the day hiking by the Gulf of Morbihan viewing swans and beautiful peaceful scenery. We had lunch at Yolande’s cheese, pâté, salad, pancetta and, of course, out of this world French bread and wine. Lunch and dinner aways ended with European chocolates.
Jim and I went for a 4 mi walk along the beach. I warned Jim that Yolande was planing to service us pâté de foie gras, shrimp, snails etc. and a roasted duck dinner, not even Jim could fathom that. We asked Yolande to please have mercy on us, we could not manage her generosity. arranged, the colors of plates table cloth and food looked like a painting. Jim took pictures, of course. We waddled our way up to our bedroom and had a peaceful night’s sleep. Yolande is a treasure; her generosity and kindness are outstanding.
