My Spanish journey

Madrid goes back to work
Today was the first day back to work for madrileños, people who live in Madrid. Schools are on vacation and most people take off from work between December 23 and January 6. So Christmas to Spiphany, el Día de Los Reyes Magos. Many people go back to their native villages during that time.. It's also the time of the rebajas or major sales. These sales are held twice a year, once after New Years and again in June.
