Madrid is divided in to 21 districts, with neighborhoods (barrios) in each one. For example, Nick and Teté to live in Universidad, in the barrio Conde Duque. I will live the the district Universidad in the barrio Malasaña They moved to the district Chamberí in the barrio of Almagro.
The two districts are both north the old center of the city, Centro. But they could not be more
different. Malasaña is trendy, hip, young with lots of bars and places to hang out. Chamberí isn't even ususally mentioned in the list of "places to see" in Madrid. It is said to be the most like old Madrid. Families, students, more settled down.
