Dear Diary,
This past week has been amazing. Scott came over, and he is just as I imagined him to be! We have been taking walks and have been learning more about each other every day! When we first met, I couldn't believe I was seeing him in person!! We've only known each other for four weeks, but I feel like I've known him a lifetime!
On the fourth day that Scott was here, he was acting very weird, and nervous. I wondered what was going on, he had never acted like this before. We decided to go on a walk, and he got down on one knee and proposed! I said yes right away, and I'm so excited! We both know that there is a lot to do; I will need to get a green card, and there are going to be a lot of papers, but we’re both excited for what is to come.
When the week was over, Scott went back home, and I am going to need to get ready to go to America! I have many expectations, and I bet that it will be my favorite country! I wonder what the cities will look like. Scott told me that he has his own house and that I will live there when I move. Scott littles in a place called McHenry, I bet that it is a huge city!
I already have a passport, so all I need to do is to have a place to stay, and to pack. I’m still a little shocked that Scott already proposed, but I feel as if I’ve known him for a million years. We haven’t planned everything, and I know that it will take a couple of months for me to be able to come over to America. I know that it will be worth the wait.
As the month went on, Scott and I set everything up so that the transition will go smoothly. We call each other every day, and I’m glad I said yes to his proposal. We know that there will be many hardships coming ahead, but I am up for the challenge. The process to get a green card is very tough, but Scott and I decided to get a lawyer to help us. I will be moving to America in June, and we will be getting married in September.
