The Weibel and Bechard: These are the two most popular bakeries in Aix-en-Provence. Bakeries are found all over the town of Aix, and all around France. The two bakeries have an intense competition. An abundance of beautiful pasties can be found in both shops. Outside of Weibel is a gelato cart with unique flavors to choose from. On the other hand, Bechard holds all of its goods inside the store. This raised my interest at first in Aix-en-Provence because I wanted to taste the pastries from both bakeries and see which one I like best.
