Norwegian Dreaming
After meeting up with Ingeborg in Tønsberg a few weeks ago, I got into contact with her daughters who live in Oslo, about meeting up for dinner some time. This Wednesday, it finally actually happened!
Annette and Hilde are 25 and 27 and are working in Oslo (as an accountant and a doctor) and living together for the past several months as they search for individual apartments in Oslo (which sounds like quite the task). We had a lovely evening together, eating pizza and ice cream and chatting about our families, life in Norway and their time in the U.S. (they both studied abroad in the States).
It was nice to meet relatives around my own age, especially since they really reminded me of my sister and I. We’re hoping to meet up again some time before I leave.
