THERE AND BACK AGAIN World Cruise 2019
After a smooth rounding of the Cape of Good Hope-spectacular sunset at the Cape- we ported at Cape Town, the original European settlement in South Africa. Seals played constantly next to our ship making us late once to dinner. We visited the transit point from which political prisoners including Nelson Mandela were sent to Robbin Island. The hang glider is in front of Robbin Island. There is now a monument to SAs 4 Nobel Prize winners. We took a taxi to the cable car and went to the top of Table Mountain. One of the most iconic sights in the world. The scenery here is spectacular. The animal is a dassie, closest relative to an elephant!
