THERE AND BACK AGAIN World Cruise 2019

And the bush, and the veldt. Another full day. We visited the Inkwenkwezi Private Reserve. Steep and muddy trails through all kinds of terrain in a safari jeep. VERY rough! We saw lots of zebra and types of antelopes and the highlight, lions! They even have white lions, very rare. Afterwards we visited the East London Museum which has a Coelacanth, a fish thought to be extinct for 70 million years. It bears it's young live. Also the oldest human footprints dated at 125,000 years old and the worlds only dodo egg. All very interesting. The coelacanth has survived 4 of the 5 mass extinctions, we are in the 6th now. They also have a stone cross, the Portuguese planted them as they originally explored Western Africa.
