As a friend Joe Kenny was a lifeguard here many many years ago it was great to have some time to see this beach not far away, beautiful day with a breeze keeping the heat down.
They have recently put a shark net up in front of the boathouse to make a safe swimming area. This is where I want to swim! Sharks are in these waters. There are hammer head sharks in City Bay nearby. We chatted to the life savers some old some young and they watch all the time. These days drones can be used to track sharks and keep everyone safe!
