We were walking around Khotan and we saw a man walking with a strange looking material. We ask him "What is that lavish material you're wearing?" He responds with, "it is a piece of silk!" This is the second time were have heard of silk. We asked him, "What is silk?" in hopes that he wouldn't run away like the last man. He says "It is a piece of cloth made by silkworms!" Wow! Khotan is so interesting!!! We were very interested in collecting silk and trading it. It had a light feel and looked very high end. We asked the man where we could obtain this said silk and he told us that where the silk was made and how it was made was not to be discussed. We just had to have silk! We later made plans to find where the silk came from and steal it.

Update: We were walking through Khotan and we noticed a wedding. We glanced over and noticed that the women....was merely a girl. She looked between the ages of 11-13...much younger than the age women get married where we're from.
