Today we ate a simple meal in a Dunhuang market. We dinned upon dried fruit and tea. After eating we traded some of our goods. We traded out ceramics for cotton and we traded one of our sheep for medicine in case sickness struck one of us. The man we traded our sheep for was very grateful because his family needed a sheep for wool and food. We saw a man selling something he called paper. It was used to write on to send messages and to draw things. Something like that could be very useful in the future.
