Little did we know as first time traders and travelers that the journey from Dunhaung to Cherchen is dangerous. It's dangerous because a hug section of the Silk Road southern branch from Dunhuang to Cherchen is consider one of the most complicated routes because there is no larger community for us tired travelers to take rest in. A fellow trader told us about this while we rested in Dunhuang. We thanked him for his warning then proceeded on our way. We are nervous but it will be worth it!
