Around the World in Many Days, III: South East Asia
And so ends the third leg of our journey, in which we saw some of South East Asia.
To sum up the 47 days:
- 1 day of flight from Madagascar to Singapore
- 3 days in Singapore
- 10 days in Cambodia
- 22 days in Vietnam
- 11 days in Laos
We covered more than 5,000 kilometres in total, more than 3,000 of those by air (Singapore to Siem Reap, Can Tho to Danang, Dong Hoi to Hanoi, Hanoi to Vientiane) and the rest by bus, minivan, taxi, tuk-tuk, bicycle, ferry, boat, hot air balloon, etc.
We stayed at 15 different hotels and aboard 1 boat for a total of 46 nights.
