Day 1 – Fes to Merzouga sahara desert (Erg Chebbi).

Meet at 8am (7am in winter months when days are short) and head south across the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, Azrou, cedar forests, Midelt,Errachidia Ziz valley , Erfoud and Rissani. It is an interesting route with a break for lunch around Midelt. Arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes where the camel guide will be waiting to take you across the sands of the Sahara. Camel trek for around 1.5hrs into the deep desert dunes to sleep under the stars in a nomad-tented camp. Desert camp to include evening meal and breakfast.

Day 2 – Merzouga sahara desert (Erg Chebbi) to Todra Gorges.

Your guide will wake you up early in the morning to see the amazing sunrise over the dunes then ride camels back to your Auberge in Merzouga to re-fresh and take breakfast, we will visit a house and listen to some gnawa music, before departing for Todra Gorge & Tinehir. One of the highlights of the South is the massive fault in the plateau that divides the High Atlas from the Jebel Sarhro, called the Todra Gorges. The crystal clear river emerging from the deep ochre and pink rock formations offer a dramatic landscape and great photographic opportunites. we will spend the night in the hotel .

Day 3 – Todra Gorges to Fes.

From Todra gorges,
we go upper through the Berber villages of Tamtatoucht and Ait Hani. We may stop for tea or lunch with the inhabitant. We follow our way in beautiful scenery until we arrive to Imilchil, the famous Berber village not only for the wedding Festival but also for the 2 lakes : Isli – Tislit . we cross the Atlas Mountains, back to Fez where our trip ends.
