Andorra to Limoux

We left Andorra via the south road, via Spain, after stocking up at a duty free supermarket. Customs really didn’t care how much we had.

The countryside in Spain is much more open and rugged than France; the difference on either side of the Pyrenees is quite stark. We drove north towards France, and, as it looked like we were going to hit a really wild storm, we were happy that we could take the

Puymorens Tunnel (4.8kms long), rather than going on over the top of the mountain. We drove through the storm once we exited on the French side and continued home to Limoux.
