To Ireland, With Love

So it's been over 2 years since I sat down and diligently worked on this story, so much of my memory is hazy, but our last day was spent in Dublin. Kate went to get a tattoo, and the rest of us all went all through the main area of Dublintown, together and apart to experience it. I have certain pictures in my mind of certain streets being covered with hanging umbrellas. I recall how busy Grafton Street was and the various entertainers who occupied it, working for tips - clowns, musicians, human statues, comedy acts - one couldn't travel far without running into the next performer or group.

I recall seeing one of the coolest comic, novelty action figure and nerd store (minus RPG stuff, which was horribly lacking) I've ever seen, including in New York City. Music stores, jewelry stores, barber shop after barber shop (as well as tattoo shop after tattoo shop), but more than anything else - pubs. Pubs, pubs, everywhere!

So I picked out some of the photos from our final day on the Emerald Isle and just dumped them on here with no explanation, but as I write, the undeniable urge to return to my Irish Heaven weighs heavy on me, yet my appreciation for my first pilgrimage will always be in my forethoughts.

I will never forget our trip - and if my brain decries that idea, hopefully, this book will help remind me of one of favorite memories of my life. Thank you Dave and Kate, Tim and Lori and Kelly and Mirinda for being our adventuring party on this memorable escape!
