In 1770, Captain Cook discover Austarila. On August 22, 1770 he clam the east coast of Australia. He called the east coast "New South Wales." Australia became independent of Britain on March 3, 1986. This happen 29 years ago. The British parliament pass six Australian colonies to govern in their rights on January 1901.
