Colorado, USA

Our first stop was Denver, Colorado. We had left our jobs, packed the house and our lives into a box, said our goodbyes and jumped on a plane seeking new adventures.

On arrival Denver was cooler than expected. We made our way to the mountains in Keystone for the weekend where it snowed all weekend. We helped Terry and Laurie pack the house as they were moving to a new property in Boulder.

During the week in downtown we spent a few days house sitting and looking after the beautiful and fun, but also devilish, Dakota. We also went to a baseball game, cycled to Cherry Creek, and did a lot of walking, taking the puppy for a run around the dog park, down to City Park and a coffee stop in Starbucks at REI.

As always, it is great to stay with Terry and Laurie, and we are looking forward to returning in July.
