Anzac Day, it was still dark and a bit chilly when we left the Showgrounds and people were standing around a roaring fire getting ready for the Roma Dawn Service, by the time we got to Muckadilla the sun was just rising and we passed by a large gathering including soldiers on horses for their Dawn Service and we are are now seeing plenty of 3 trailer road trains.
We arrived at Charleville around 9.30am to meet up with Marilyn and John to watch the Anzac Parade, there was a large local turn out followed by a service in the memorial park,
After the parade we headed out to set up our camp at the 10 Mile camp on the bank of the Warrego

Day 3, Sunday 26-April-2015
Today we headed into town for the Sunday markets followed by a visit to the town hall for the flood memorabilia display, this weekend is also the 25th anniversary of the devastating 1990 Charleville floods, we continued our town walk up to the Charleville Station and then back to the RSL for lunch.
Returning to camp we tried some fishing in the river without any luck and then got ready for the Cosmos Centre.
The Cosmos Centre is a guided tour of the night sky, we were fortunate to have the perfect night for it, not a cloud in the sky and very chilly. There are 4 high powered telescopes which can be electronically repositioned in seconds, each is manned by a staff member to explain what you are viewing, we were able to clearly see various stars, planets, nebulea and our moon.
Day 4, Monday 27-April-2015
A quiet day in camp today John and I made another trip into town to pick up a few groceries and some parts to install his 12v/240v inverter in the caravan.
