Safari Animal Sighting List

Malawi and Tanzania, 06.02.2023

We kept a running list of all the animals we saw on safari in both Malawi and Tanzania. Some animals we saw in abundance (here's looking at you impala, hippos and wildebeests) and some we saw only once or twice. This list includes all the mammals, only one lizard (the rest known locally just as "lizard"), probably about 30% of the bird species, and none of the insect or plant species. I guess that is just the way of the safari world. These are listed in the order and park where we first saw them, but most we also saw later too.
