Inverness to Hawick via Stirling. Down pass Loch Ness – still no monster, think it might be an old wives tale??? Through mountain pass .Stirling Castle and walk around town, nice town. Warm and sunny 28 degrees.

Hawick to Harrogate via Hadrians Wall built 122 stretched from coast to coast 120km long, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Drive into Whitby town bustling port town hundreds of people. Then to Robin Hood Bay, interesting seaside/holiday town, nice walk around. Sunny in morning but as driving rain and lightning, at least it cleaned the windscreen. Then on to Harrogate.

Walk around York and the town walls, Guy Fawkes York born inside York Castle walls, nice place for walk. Alborough lunch in park and walk around, lovely small village. Ripon into cathedral and walk around then to Knaresborough walk along river and Rail Bridge.
29th May 17
Harrogate to Manchester to see Rob’s Dad and sister Corinne then on to Maidstone. Quite a bit of rain so good day to be travelling.
