Vertebrate Travelogue

When we first arrived, we were amused by a flock of American Coot birds flying south for the winter. It was fascinating, but our main purpose was to find the Gray Wolves in the areas.
The air was pretty cold. I am weak to deal with colder climate, so I basically shook all the time. It was hard to breath, because the air is much more dense. The leader of the Eskimo tribe took us on a wolf sleigh to sight see the gray wolves.
