My exchange life

Hello everybody!
I welcome you to my diary and I'm going to introduce myself: my name is Filippo, I'm 17 and I come from Italy but now I'm living in Denmark, the country of the Little Mermaid. Why am I here? Because I am an exchange student!
I arrived here the 8th August and now it's almost 4 months living here, in this beautiful land. When I arrived I didn't know many things: the language, the culture, how to ride a bike ... yes, you heard well! I didn't know how to do it because in Italy I always go to school with my car (well, not a real car, but a very little one that you can drive when you turn 14, in few words it's like a scooter with 4 wheels), but now I love my bike and I will remember forever the first time I went with to school.
I think that Denmark is the greatest gift I ever received, it means everything for me. Many emotions, new experiences, a new family, a new school, new people. It is very difficult to describe what I feel, and everyday I feel something different: one day it seems I am in a dream, another day I don't want to do anything, and another more I am very determinated. And of course, living in a foreign country is not easy how it seems. There are also very difficult moments where you feel lost, confused and misunderstood. Sometimes the only thing you would do is sleeping forever, but then you realize that you're doing the wrong thing, so you wake up and decide to wear the mask of happiness :)
Now I am at school, bored and I want to go home because I have to do a lot of homework, and then I have to pack my rucksack because tomorrow I will travel to Berlin, and I am so excited to go again to that amazing, modern and young city.
And now I greet you in Danish ... hej hej, vi ses næste gang!
