We're back in Atlanta now. My parents picked me up from the airport and I've been chattering about the trip since we got in the car. No prompting, no questions, just straight rambling about all of the things that we did, saw, experienced. While I'm happy to be back home (and definitely happy to be off of the plane), I can't help but feel ready to go back. I was excited when we left Atlanta eleven days ago, sure. I was ready to learn, to experience new things, to have the culture shock of my life. And I got all of that! I definitely wasn't disappointed. But what I didn't expect was how much I was truly going to enjoy it. So...thank you, Dr. Abegaz, for opening my eyes to another world that I had yet to experience and allowing me to grow at my own pace while still pushing us to soak it all in. I can honestly say that I can't wait to have another opportunity to go back.
