Ethiopia Study Abroad 2020

Entry 1
We're going souvenir shopping today down near Lake Tana. I got a few things for my mom and some friends, but I still haven't found anything for my dad. I'm losing hope that I'll be able to find a pocket knife for his collection.

Entry 2
While we were out shopping, we decided to stop for a traditional coffee ceremony. It was delicious, and the women doing the ceremony were very nice and explained everything.

Entry 3
I've been pooped on. Well, to be more accurate, Trevion and I have been pooped on. By a bird. Neither of us is very happy with this development. Apparently it's good luck. We don't think so.

Entry 4
We had lunch with professors from Bahir Dar University chemistry faculty (Dr. Minaleshewa and Dr. Bewketa) at the hotel. We then caught the small blue taxis to campus, where they were kind enough to give us a tour of the facilities.

Entry 5
We're taking the minibus back to the airport to head to Addis. I'm ready to stop carrying everything in my backpack. That's the one unfortunate thing about my camera - it takes up a lot of room.
