Around the World in Many Days, VI: New Zealand
And so ends the sixth leg of our journey, in which we crossed New Zealand from south to north.
To sum up the 27 days:
- 17 days on the south island
- 10 days on the north island
We travelled 4,825 kilometres by car (all driven by N), during which we had zero flat tires, zero extended air-conditioning malfunctions, and zero murine hitchhikers.
We stayed at 10 different Airbnb/Bookabach/Holidayhouses privately-owned locations for a total of 24 nights, and at 3 different hotels/motels for a total of 3 nights.
