* Invest in good quality tyres
* Lift is helpful
* Snorkel not necessary (depends where you want to go)
* Air compressor (compulsory)
* Recovery tracks and snatch
* Punch repair kit
* 1 spare car and 1 spare trailer tyre
* Air & fuel filter
* Jump start battery
* Soldering iron
* Tool bag including drill
* Greese gun
* Shovel, axe and bow saw (electric chainsaw would be handy if you want to pay for it).
* If you're a mad fire bug, a fire drum or raised fire pit is handy in caravan parks. We didn't feel the need to carry one and overall didn't miss it.
* 2 jerry cans was sufficient for us and our setup
* Large first aid kit and a sml kit for walking
* 1 set of sheets only but an extra set of pillow cases if on road for a while
* 2 sets of bath towels (wovii - quick dry)
* Enjo face wipes
*Magic folding mirror (loved having full-length mirror)
* Luxury item is bellman expresso machine for barista coffee on gas
* Ear plugs in case you have noisy neighbours!
Wouldn't pack again...
*Shower tent - hassle to set up and easier to just shower in bathers
Wish we had...
* Tinnie as so many more fishing opportunities
Tips...
* Take lots of small nots in cash for campsites and fuel in case no eftpos.
* Most campsites telstra but occasionally optus so one on each network handy. We also had a sat phone for emergencies.
* Make a paper towel dispenser. We used sooo much paper towel. When tight on water, paper towel (and wet wipes) are your friend.
* Get RACQ top level for road side assist
* Dont take a dog! Can't go to NP and some caravan parks won't let you leave them unattended.
* Make sure everything has a place amd doesnt rub. Corrogations will rub holes in everything. Use stubbie holders around cans and toolbox foam is helpful for setting up kitchen to avoid items rubbing.
