North Korea and South Korea share a common heritage, but the political division since 1945 has resulted in some difference of modern culture. Similarities are food, The main type of food is grains, meat, and vegetables. Meats like beef, chicken, pork, and dog meat....Vegetables like Potatoes, sprouts, Garlic, and Spinach.
Common traditions include Dance, Painting, Crafts, and Ceramics. Houses in Korea are called Hanok. They are usually built on hills, facing the south to get the maximum amount of sunlight.
Korea is located in East Asia and is shaped a little similar to Florida being peninsulas. 70% of Korea is mountains and the climate from North and South greatly differ. The North has more cold weather and the South has more warm weather due to the warm water current.
Tourist attractions include festivals, Seoraksan National Park,
Hallasan National Park, villages, forest, and waterfalls. Hotels in Korea are different and there are more than 2000 hotels in Korea. The most popular but expensive being lotte hotel that cost more than $4000 for just 17 nights.
