"Brief History"

Japan to some people is seen as a place that is a bad place that only has natural disasters. This is nothing but ridiculous because if you have even been to japan you will be surprised at the culture and events you can see.
Japan is located to the east of China in the Pacific Ocean. Japan is also known to many as "The Land of The Rising Sun". The city of Tokyo is one of the most crowded places in Japan.
They have the world's 3rd largest economy and 3rd lowest infant mortality rate in the world! Following that, This place has been inhabited by humans since the paleolithic times. Since then they have been a monarchy while hundreds of Emperors with the current being emperor Naruhito.
Japan is split up into forty seven prefectures all having their own government system. All the prefectures together are known as The Japanese Archipelago.

Japanese people have a very unique culture, strange even to some. Virtual reality plays a very big role in most of their lives. Their culture is influenced by video games and technology.
Another tradition is art which has been around Japanese culture for years and years.
Art can mean lots of things like the most familiar, sketching and painting. more forms of art include calligraphy, this is a style of writing in which the letters are very artistic. Last but not least there is sculpting, Japanese sculptors make statues and models of things.

Geography of japan- Japan is an island that is in the pacific ocean ( As stated on page 2). It consist of thousands of islands close together with there being four of the largest Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku, and Hokkaido. It also has its own body of water, The Sea of Japan, with neighboring countries Russia, Korea, and China.
Japan is home to about 125 million people. The climate varies due to Japan being vertically extended quite far.
The natural disaster that mainly occurs is Earthquakes due to thousands of islands being close to each other.
The most known mountain in Japan is Mt. Fuji due to it being a very large volcano.

Hotel cost in Japan can be cheap and some can be quite expensive. Shangri-La Hotel Tokyo would run you $717.
If you are cheap you can stay at a more low end hotel like the Oak hotel which would cost $56.

A trip from the united states to Japan would cost a little less or more than $1520 including gas money, hotels, plane tickets, Pets (if any), food, and extra money in case you plan on going to events, restaurants, concerts, or tourist museums. Another way to travel to japan would be by boat which could be more complicated than a flight depending on take off point.
