My diary

Dear Diary,
Today I'm in Nassau. It is the capital of the Bahamas. This island has some much history. It used to be for Pirates but then in 1718 the Bahamas got their first Royal Governor. That expelled the pirates from this island.
I went to Pompey Museum this morning. This Museum is named after a courageous slave, Pompey. It was built sometime before 1769. It became a museum in 1992. After going to the museum I went to the retreat gardens. Its an 11 acre property that has over 170 species. Its a private collections that has the most rare and exotic species in the world.
