Back Down To Earth
We travelled up the highway to Dubrovnik in Croatia yesterday and did very little else. Found our Airbnb and started planning for the next part of our trip. The Airbnb is a really nice comfortable place with a very friendly host. Is nice to stay in a place which makes you feel at home. We have booked the next week for accommodations but we need to start booking for the next month. Want to rent a car here but it isn't as cheap as we thought so we are unsure if we can do that or not. Spent today roaming the walls and old city of Dubrovnik. Was another scorcher of a day and combined with lots of people made it not as nice as it could have been. here in the late 80's. Gotten quite expensive and touristy but still beautiful and unique. The old city is the heart of this city and probably its soul. Glad to get back to the Airbnb and sit on the veranda with a cold beer.
