Life of Pi

Hello my name is Piscine Molitor Patel. 39 years ago i was with my family on the Tsimtsum but it sunk leaving me stranded in a life boat. In my life boat there was a Zebra, a hyena, a orangutan named Orange Juice, and most importantly a 450-pound adult Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Only me and the tiger survived. Together we survived in the middle of the pacific ocean for 227 days, more than most and all without a carnivorous large orange cat. Without Richard Parker I would not have lived but have died with hopelessness of survival. We survived no water and food for weeks, beating suns, man-eating islands, and the

The ship sunk when i was 19 and i was at sea for seven months. Now i am 59 years old and my scars are mostly healed. I have my own family now. I have a wife named Meena, a son named Nikhil (or nick for short), a daughter named Usha. And not to forget about my pets, a dog named Tata and a cat named Moccasin. I'm a simple man always has been. I never talk about my life except for when i gave my story to the writer. If i pray everyday and cook my family meals i'm happy. Sometimes i wonder if Richard Parker has his own kin and hunts prey for them. Then we would both be living are lives to the fullest.
