So that is our travel story. We hope that you have enjoyed the tales of our travels, it is certainly a great diary for us to keep all the memories alive! Thank you for sharing some of those with us by reading our story.

In terms of the New Zealand road trip, both North and South, we felt that we could have stayed for longer in most of the destinations and potentially seen and done so much more. But the road trip itinery only gave us one or two nights per stop, to fit all in. Our advice to you is if you are considering doing the same, then maybe research more fully the destinations that you are visiting to ensure you have maximum time to enjoy it all. We wish now that we had!

Also we would like to extend our gratitude to both the Events Worldwide company from Australia who helped us plan the first part of our trip, and to the lovely Louise from NZ Self Drive Tours who worked diligently from start to finish to make both our road trips simply the best! Much appreciated guys.

And finally what of our mission statement and wish list at the start of this diary? Well we feel that we achieved all of it and loads more besides, in summary it was everything we had hoped during the two years of planning - and so much more. We will remember it forever.
