Preparation

This trip is already starting out horribly. My first Caribbean vacation, and I'm already in trouble. I haven't even stepped on the plane yet and my mom is threatening to leave me here! I'm sorry you gave me your credit card, with no other instructions but to "get what you need"! I needed my Darth Vader onesie, I needed those shoes, so what they're muffs even though we are going to Jamaica! Ugh...mom. For punishment (in addition to the threatening) I also have to do a full out report on the places we are going...I might as well write them here.

What she doesn't know is that I haven't packed yet...and we are leaving tomorrow! I don't even want to go on this trip. For 5 days we will be flying over to a country I don't know, to stay with people I barely know! My mom is hoping to connect with her childhood friends, so she's dragging me and my sister along. Tomorrow, we are heading to Fayetteville's rink a dink airport, just to fly 40 minutes to Charlotte's much better one, then finally on a five hour flight to Jamaica! In addition, I have to also pack, finish assignments, and begin this dumb punishment research thingy. I might as well get

started....

Here's to Jamaica, a vacation I wish would start and end quickly.
