Ireland Adventure

This morning was all about getting to the airport, getting the rental car returned and being ready to board the plane in a timely manner. We enjoyed another good breakfast and said goodbye to our very kind B&B hosts in Slane.

It’s interesting that in Ireland you pass through US Customs on this side of the ocean rather than when you arrive in the USA. A good thing to be aware of as you need to allow a little extra time to catch your plane.

Thankfully our almost 8 hour flight was uneventful and we landed at O’Hare about 2 PM. The goal at that point was to try and remain awake until a “reasonable” bedtime to start trying to readjust the body clock. That’s hard to do when your very own electric toothbrush and bed are calling but we think we are just about….zzz…zzz…

We hope you’ve enjoyed our rambling in and about Ireland. We want to extend a special thanks to our wonderful travel companions, Brad & Cindy. It’s always fun to be with those who enjoy learning and laughing.

As for us, we’re going to be reminiscing about this trip for awhile as well as figuring where we want to ramble next.
