Usually when foreigners think of China, typical cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhouthat pop in mind. There's no denying that those big cities reflect how economic growth reshapes China to become the largest economic in the world. However, in terms of discovering the real charm of nature, those cities I mentioned above probably lose advantages to many small counties.

Nature views and different culture attract me a lot. So compared with large cities, I prefer small towns with unique traditions. China is consisted of 55 minority groups. Most of them have their own culture as well as dialect. One thing that I believe in heart is that the wonderful scenery will never appear in large cities. During the 18 years that I've lived in China, I've been to most of the attractions in terms of either cultural or nature scenery. Thus, I hope this journal can give you some idea of where to travel when you take your 5-week journey next time. ^ ^
