Samba

Day 5. Taxi! Today, after work, me and others rushed to the Sambodromo to see a couple of schools practicing for the Carnival. Since I wont be able to be here for the start of Carnival, I must say that it was a good enough sample. It rained for the first time since I arrived, it was a lot of rain, but I kept my ground! As soon as it stopped the parade started and a nice show started. The rythm is captivating and the chanted chorus are quite catchy. A first bite of Samba, after you want more!

Lapa is the part of Rio where the mudança can be found. Lots and lots of people are around there on a Saturday. I would advise Casa de Cachasa doesn't look very clean, but it looked good enough for me. Lots of people are around there.
