Slept in, made and ate brunch around 11:30 am. We decided to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway and go for a short hike last minute because the weather channel showed that rain would come late afternoon.

We stopped by Blueridge Parkway Visitor Center to get some maps and info. We continued to drive north for 7 mi/12 mins to Craven Gap. We hiked a short part of the Mountains-To-Sea trail, 2 mi round trip.

We drove further north for a few minutes to the Tanbark Ridge Overlook and snap a few pictures. Beautiful scenery.

After dinner, we got some yummy sugar free ice cream from Ingles and finished up Legally Blonde 2 and a few more episodes of Gilmore Girls.
